Ocean Kinetics are committed to the provision of a safe and healthy workplace. Health and safety has an equal status to all other business values within the organisation.
To maintain our excellent health and safety record, Ocean Kinetics developed a safety management system that is accredited to BS EN OHSAS 18001 and our core HSE policies and procedures are externally audited by the FPAL ‘Verify’ process.
Ocean Kinetics conducts business in a way which reduces risk, both for our staff and in the services that we provide to our Clients. We invest heavily in training and maintain modern facilities and equipment. All our employees fully participate in achieving our health and safety objectives and our QHSE policies are displayed throughout our offices, workshops and rest areas.
It’s vital to us that our workshops are safe, our machines are in tip-top condition, our staff are comfortable and that they have the best tools they need to complete a job.
Ocean Kinetics was founded in the oil rich Shetland Islands; we understand more than most the need to manage the environmental impact of our actions. We identify the environmental aspects of all activities directly and indirectly associated with our work, then set and monitor objectives and targets for continual improvement.
Ocean Kinetics is committed to the ongoing improvement of our Environmental Management System and regularly hold management reviews to identify areas for the improvement of our excellent environmental performance.

At Ocean Kinetics, we continually strive for the highest standard in everything we do. This is evident in not only our ISO9001, ISO 3834- 2 and EN1090-1 accreditations, but in the way we conduct our everyday business.
We invested heavily to achieve our ISO/EN standards and this raised both our level of service and quality of workmanship. In order to provide reassurance to our clients & maintain our accreditations, our management systems are regularly audited by SGS and TWI. We are also externally audited by the FPAL ‘Verify’ process and maintain industry leading scores.
Through our Quality Management System we continually seek opportunities to identify and implement improvement.
Ocean Kinetics is committed to meeting or exceeding all the laws and regulations wherever we conduct business; and set our own standards or expectations much higher. These commitments are defined in our Company Policies which form part of our Company Manual.

The mechanisms adopted in implementing these policies are integrated through Company procedures and the Quality Management System.
