Say hello to our new Graduate Engineer.

Ealasaid has recently taken on the position of Graduate Engineer – Structural/Mechanical Engineering at Ocean Kinetics.

Over this next year, Ealasaid’s main role will be evaluating a range of engineering software packages suitable for Ocean Kinetics, including creating and implementing a workflow for checking typical design arrangements for the preferred solution. This will allow Ocean Kinetics to evaluate if there is a cost benefit to bringing these tools in-house.

Ealasaid, a first-class honours Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of the Highlands and Islands, has valuable research skills, along with skills in 2D and 3D modelling, and finite element analysis. We’re sure she’ll be great in her new role!
