Ocean Kinetics Offering Alternative Access Solutions
In the continual drive to deliver full turnkey project services Ocean Kinetics have teamed up with experienced industry professionals Blair McDonald and Gavin Haw to offer innovative access solutions for working at height and in restricted and confined areas.
Asset Integrity Maintenance was formed recently to offer innovative access solutions to clients across all industry sectors who have traditionally been focusing on more conventional access systems. With over thirty years management experience in the energy industry Blair and Gavin have identified significant savings that can be passed on to clients. With a range of tested, safe and accredited applications there can be many different solutions for every work scope.
A.I.M. are already providing services to the offshore energy sector and have now joined forces with Ocean Kinetics to compliment the engineering and fabrication services offered to clients on Sullom Voe Terminal and the Shetland Gas Plant.
These applications also save time and cost across all industry sectors and can be particularly suited to offshore wind farms and for jetty and pier works. Ocean Kinetics and A.I.M. will be working together from A.I.M.’s base in central belt Scotland to offer turnkey project delivery across the UK.
Ocean Kinetics Managing Director, John Henderson said;
“We’re always looking for innovative methods to find efficiencies for our clients. Often the costs and mobilisation of traditional scaffolding are expensive and time consuming. We can see from our years of working on site that there are considerable advantages for a much leaner approach to this challenge and we can now offer our own alternative access solutions with A.I.M. This gives us the ability of completing more work scopes quickly and efficiently under one delivery umbrella. “
Blair McDonald from A.I.M commented;
“For some years now we’ve seen inefficiencies in providing access solutions for fabric maintenance works in the Energy sector. Gavin and I felt there was an opportunity to provide major cost savings to clients, especially as the industry moves towards more innovative approaches to traditional challenges. We are now delighted to be able to help Ocean Kinetics provide full engineering and fabrication packages backed up with alternative access, lifting and rigging services. This full turnkey service can bring significant cost savings to clients across all industry sectors.”
