Ocean Kinetics is a leading engineering and marine services company delivering innovative, high‑quality solutions across the aquaculture, marine, engineering, and energy sectors. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and organised Project / Business Administrator to join our team.
This role is ideal for:
- An experienced administrator with strong project or business support skills, or
- Someone seeking a Graduate Apprenticeship in a Business‑related discipline, looking to learn on the job while gaining a recognised qualification.
About the Role
As a Project / Business Administrator, you will play a key part in supporting our project managers, engineers, and business operations teams. You will help ensure the smooth running of projects and contribute to efficient business processes across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across project and commercial teams
- Assist with preparing project documentation, reports, and schedules
- Help track project progress, budgets, and timelines
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to support project delivery
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and document control systems
- Help prepare business‑related submissions
- Support general office and business operations as required
About You
For experienced candidates, you will ideally have:
- Previous administrative or project support experience
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good communication skills and confidence working with different teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general digital tools
- A proactive approach and a strong attention to detail
For Graduate Apprenticeship applicants, you should:
- Be enthusiastic about developing a career in business or project administration
- Have strong communication and organisational abilities
- Be willing to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast‑paced environment
- Meet eligibility requirements for a Scottish Graduate Apprenticeship programme
