INSPECTION AND TESTING
At Ocean Kinetics, we undertake a range of inspection and testing in-house. Our visual weld inspectors are qualified to a minimum of CSWIP 3.1 and our NDT technicians are certified to CSWIP Level II for MPI and/or DPI.
Our NDT facility is a recent development, and is the only commercial one of its kind in Shetland. With this facility, we can offer first-class services such as hydrostatic pressure testing, ultrasonic inspections and SPX hyrdaulic bolting.
This purpose-built inspection building incorporates the largest radiography bay in the North East, dedicated pressure testing areas as well as general NDT such as UT thickness and weld inspection, MPI & DPI.
Ocean Kinetics is fully ISO 9001 and ISO 3834 accredited.
