FISH SUCTION CONNECTOR FOR THE F/V GRATEFUL

Ocean Kinetics has recently manufactured and installed a large diameter retractable fish suction connector onboard the modern pelagic trawler F/V Grateful.
The vessel steamed to Shetland to receive modifications in her existing pipework and hose reel, along with a new hydraulic connector fitting. The connector eliminates the need for manually joining large flexible hoses at sea and gives a gentle passage for transporting her fish, this leads to a safer workplace and improved fish quality.
