ABERDEEN HARBOUR EXPANSION PROJECT OVER HALFWAY COMPLETE

June 3, 2021
As the first caisson of 2021 arrives, great progress is made on the Aberdeen Harbour expansion project.

Since August 2020, Ocean Kinetics have been involved in supporting Aberdeen Harbour’s £350 million expansion by delivering and positioning the caissons to make up the new pier. The project is now well underway, and we are delighted to have now delivered our fifteenth – and largest – caisson, which will form the South Pier.

As the final seven caissons are delivered in the next few weeks, we’d like to thank our marine projects director Michael Fox, and the Aberdeen marine team for helping this project run smoothly, safely and on time.
